Gullane Children's Books are contracted to publish my next picture book. The good news is that a US co-edition has been signed. The bad news is that UK publication has been pushed back again, now projected for March 2010. Still, all systems are go!

Breaking news: Turtle's Song is to be produced as an audio CD and book package. Also, Tolpuddle Boy is to be re-published by Five Leaves Publications. I'll let you know when they're available!

Myself with fellow author Kate Cann at the Kids Literature Quiz World Final at Oxford in July 2008. Taking part were schools from South Africa, New Zealand and China, as well as the British Isles. Truro School (as England) won a thrilling contest. I knew about one answer in twenty!
